Consumer prices climb in July – Belstat

September 9, BPN. Consumer prices climbed by 0.1 percent in July, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) reports.

They increased by 13.8 percent since the beginning of the year, and by 17.9 percent over the past 12 months.

Food products fell by 0.7 percent compared to the previous month. They rose by 12.7 percent since the beginning of the year and by 18.9 percent over the past 12 months. Non-food products increased by 0.9 percent, 18.2 percent and 20.9 percent, respectively.

Services went up by 0.3 percent, 9.9 percent and 12.2 percent, respectively.

The authorities projected annual inflation no higher than six percent.
